If the CT scan requires us to inject a contrast material into the blood stream, a laboratory Creatinine blood screening must have been completed within the last 30 days. Please have the doctor's office fax us a copy of the lab results. A blood test can also be conducted at the imaging center if no blood testing has been completed.
When IV contrast will be given, we will ask that you not eat or drink anything for 4 hours prior to the test except for the oral contrast used for the test.
