CT Scan Exam Preparation
CT or CAT is short for Computerized Axial Tomography. This is an x-ray procedure that combines multiple x-ray images with the aid of a computer to generate cross-sectional views (picture slices) of your internal organs.
Our CT scanner can take up to 40 slices at one time. This shortens the exam time and often improves picture quality. We can provide very detailed images in the shortest amount of time.
This latest technology is the first of its kind in the Twin Cities metro area. We can create three-dimensional (3-D) images of your picture slices using advanced computer software, without giving you additional radiation.
